Woman spotted on roof during early hours in Harehills

Police cordoned off a street in Harehills on Tuesday morning after a woman was spotted on the roof of a house.

Concerns were raised for the woman, who was on a roof in Compton Crescent shortly before 5am.

Police were called at 4.53am.

The woman was brought to safety shortly before 6am.

Roads were reopened a short time later.
