Woman seriously injured following Leeds Stanningley Bypass incident that could leave road closed for ‘several hours’
A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a “one car road traffic collision” in Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police officers closed the Leeds bound lanes of Stanningley Bypass in Bramley, this morning just after 9.25am, close to where the incident took place.
A spokeswoman for the force told the YEP that the eastbound lanes of the road are “expected to be closed for several hours”.
The incident has led to diversions and heavy traffic in the surrounding areas.
