POLICE are searching for two men after a woman was robbed at her home in Leeds.

The men barged into the house at Street Lane in Roundhay after the 45-year-old victim answered the door at around 3.30pm on Thursday, November 27. One of the men hit her, knocking her to the floor, before he took her jewellery.

They then stole more jewellery from a bedroom before leaving the house.

One of the men was described as white, aged between 18 and 21, of slim build and around 5ft 5ins tall.

He was wearing a black fleece jacket, high-visibility vest and grey trousers.

The other was similarly described and was wearing a balaclava, dark blue hooded top and grey trousers.

Speaking about the incident, detective constable Richard Coulton, of Leeds District CID, said: “This was a very frightening experience for the victim.”

He added: “I would urgently like to hear from anyone who recognises the male shown in the image or who may have seen him in the area around the time of the incident.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Detective constable Richard Coulton at Elland Road via the non-emergency police number 101.
