A woman was injured after a car overturned during a crash in Leeds city centre.

The collision in Clay Pit Lane happened at around 7.20am this morning (Saturday).

It involved a black Toyota car and a silver Vauxhall Corsa, which flipped onto its roof.

Emergency services were called to the scene and helped a woman inside, who was injured after the crash.

The road was closed while police were at the scene, but reopened at 9.10am.
