Woman charged with child abduction after two-year-old 'taken from mother' in Leeds street

A Leeds woman will appear before magistrates on Friday morning after being charged in relation to an alleged abduction incident.

Jade Mellars, aged 23, from Trentham Grove, Leeds will appear before Leeds Magistrates court on Friday, March 31 charged with carrying away a child against her will.

It follows an incident on Tunstall Road, Leeds on Wednesday in which a child was allegedly taken away from her mother, before being retrieved
