Witness appeal after man hit by bus in Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a double-decker bus yesterday (Thursday).

The 66-year-old man was seriously injured in the incident, which happened shortly before 6pm on Vicar Lane, at the junction with Kirkgate.

He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he his currently described as being in a stable condition.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact officers via 101 quoting log number 1257 of February 12.
