An eight-year-old girl’s ‘Best of British’ themed picture has won this year’s Ilkley Carnival cover competition.

Eleanor Tolch’s drawing will make the cover of the 2016 programme.

Runners up were Sienna Sewell, Helena Coy and Emmanuelle Dautret.

They will receive Bettys goodie bags.

Ilkley Carnival committee member and parade coordinator, Liz Tennant, said: “The carnival cover competition is such a great part of the countdown to our annual May Day event.”
