The Magical Lantern Festival is back in Leeds for a second year.
WHEN AND WHERE?
Roundhay Park from November 24 until January 1, 2018.
It will be open five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday and open every day during the Christmas holidays apart from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Visitors are promised “a truly amazing experience, a visual feast of light and illumination, hidden amongst the grandeur of Europe’s largest city park”, which organisers say lends itself perfectly to the layout of the lanterns with its combination of lakes, woodland, gardens and pathways.
The festival will not only wow visitors with its beautiful hand-sculpted lanterns, the entertainment area adds another dimension to this wonderful night out with a food and drink area, bar, Santa’s Grotto, handful of fairground rides for children and merhandise marquee where visitors can buy a souvenir of their experience to take home.
