WHEN AND WHERE?

Thursday, November 9 from 6.45pm at Victoria Gardens in the city centre.

WHO WILL BE THERE?

The honour of hitting the switch this year goes to two departing Leeds Rhinos legends Danny McGuire and Rob Burrow.

They’ll be joined on stage by members of the squad, coaching staff, mascot Ronnie the Rhino and the Super League Trophy.

ANYONE ELSE?

The Leeds Rock Choir will take to the stage to perform an array of modern hits alongside a special Christmas medley they’ve prepared specially.

Boogie Storm are back again after wowing crowds with their Stromtrooper routine last year – expect a brand new performance for 2017 with some familiar super-heroes taking part in a dance-off.

The little ones will get to see CBeebies presenters Alex Winters and Ben Cadjee in person as they have a festive sing-along with panto favourite Jez Edwards, who’s set to perform in this year’s production of Jack and the Beanstalk at Carriageworks.

WHICH ROADS WILL BE CLOSED?

Cookridge Street, Alexander Street, The Headrow, Upper Basinghall Street, Park Row, Calverley Street, Park Square and St Paul’s Place will be closed to traffic for a period.
