Rodley Roundabout will be partially closed for the next three weekends as the final phase of a £1m improvement project is completed.
Road closures and diversions will be in place from 9pm-9am every Friday and Saturday night while work to improve traffic flow is carried out.
The project, which began last September, includes new traffic signals, through lanes, a new road surface and safe crossing facilities for cyclists and pedestrians.
Work is being carried out at night to limit the impact on traffic.
The A657 Rodley Lane will be closed northbound overnight on Friday August 14.
The southbound road will be closed overnight on Friday August 7, Saturday August 8 and Saturday August 15.
Signed diversions will be in place during all closures.
Leeds City Council said it would try to minimise noise disruptions during work and the loudest elements would be carried out in the early evening.
The project has been funded by the council and supported by the government’s Department for Transport.
