Residents on the Spring Valley estate in Bramley collected three bin bags of rubbish during a litter pick.

The Spring Valley Rangers, an after school club for six to 13-year-olds organised by Leeds and Yorkshire Housing Association (LYHA), took part in a litter pick as part of the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Clean Up Yorkshire campaign.

Lisa Pickard, chief executive of LYHA said: “We have a fantastic group of Rangers who worked really hard on the litter pick and we’re proud to support the YEP’s Clean Up Yorkshire campaign.”
