West Leeds: Performers to make a splash with special show

Performers will make a splash at Bramley Baths with a special water-based contemporary dance, poetry and opera show.

Dearest Daisy is a love story set at a summer fete in the Edwardian period, taking inspiration from the community-led pool’s own interior.

The performance tells the story of a chance meeting in 1904 – the year the Baths was built – of two people.

It is being performed by arts company Northern Rascals on Saturday, August 11, at 4pm and 7pm.

Bramley Baths CEO Sue Stones said: “This is an exciting opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy a unique and inspiring arts and dance performance on our doorstep.”

Tickets cost £7.50 and £5 for Bramley Baths members and concessions.
