The city has endured poor visibility throughout much of Monday with Storm Brendan bringing cloud and thunderstorms.

But visibility will improve, becoming good and very good after 4pm.

The Met Office has also warned that Leeds is likely to be hit by strong winds, which may bring some disruption, until midnight on Tuesday.

"Some delays to road, rail and air are likely," they warn.

"Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer.

"Some short term loss of power and other services is possible."
