The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind for Leeds and across Yorkshire, as Storm Brendan reaches the UK.

After a clear and blustery start, winds are expected to develop throughout the morning reaching speeds of up to 80mph.

The Met Office warning says: "Some delays to road, rail and air are likely.

"Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer.

"Some short term loss of power and other services is possible."

Heavy rain will then hit Leeds later this afternoon.
