Police have appealed for the owner of a car which has been found abandoned in Leeds to come forward - because they have some 'questions about its contents'.

The car was abandoned in a muddy ditch in Leeds on Friday and now West Yorkshire Police are trying to find out why.

Police did not disclose what the questionable contents inside the black Alfa Romeo.

The force said on Twitter: "Had to drag it out of muddy ditch after was abandoned in Leeds on Fri, if it's yours come forward we've a few questions about its contents"
