Warning from Leeds Council after bin collections delayed and missed due to 'resources problem'

Advice has been issued to Leeds residents after the city council announced problems with bin collections running behind schedule.

A spokesman for the authority said that 'problems with resources' over the spring Bank Holiday means that collections are currently 'running behind.

Residents have been advised to leave their bins out if it hasn't been collected on time, because some areas have had sections of routes missed.
