A vigil will be held in Leeds tomorrow to show support with those affected by violent clashes between protesters in the US.

A 32-year-old woman died and 19 others were injured after a car rammed into a group of people protesting against a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Saturday.

On Wednesday, a Leeds Solidarity Vigil - organised by the Leeds Stand Up To Racism group - will be held at Victoria Gardens in the city centre in support of victims of the clashes.

The vigil is being supported by Leeds Unite Against Fascism, Leeds Black Lives Matter, Leeds Stand Up To Trump and Leeds Stand Up To Racism.

It will take place from 5pm.
