Video: Wheelchair-bound mum who was promised transport to get autistic son to school now faces jail after council pull plug on funding

Jamie Lynch, 13, has only been to school eight times this academic year as he can't go out independently and mum Bernie Hayes is too ill to take him.

But she’s now been threatened with prosecution because he can’t get there - despite being advised the school he attends is the best place for him. The school is out of their catchment area If convicted she could face a fine of up to £2,500 or even a prison sentence of up to three months.
