Video: Welsh actor crowdfunding to raise cash to produce hilarious spoof TV show - about Welsh private investigator called Elvis Jones
Jon House, a professional actor with roles in Green Street and Bronson, was inspired to create the comedy after he came up with the idea of a Welsh Elvis Presley reincarnated as a detective.
Played by Jon, Elvis Jones is a former soldier and MI6 spy who has settled down as a private investigator after being laid off from the Secret Service thanks to ‘austerity Britain’ cutbacks.
Launching today (Tues), his Kickstarter page will be looking to raise a massive £10,000 in 30 days to fund the filming of his pilot episode – and even plans to rope-in pal Ralph Ineson for a few vital scenes.
