Video: Teenage buskers' dream comes true when he's invited by favourite band, Catfish and the Bottlemen, to perform onstage
Schoolboy Joel Campbell was busking outside the Brit Award winner's tour bus when the band came over for a chat after being impressed by his guitar skills.
The 15 year-old fan cheekily asked if he could join them for a sound check and couldn’t believe it when front man Ryan Evan “Van” McCann invited him to take over. He told him: “Come on Joel, you can do the next one” and handed him his guitar and the talented teen nailed the band’s hit Cocoon during the warm-up. Joel said: “It was amazing enough just to be there but being asked to get on stage by Van McCann was something else.
