Video: Son of lottery millionaire bursts into shop and beats worker with hammer before robbing him

Colin Munro took part in a terrifying raid which saw a shop worker beaten with a hammer.

Munro, 32, failed in his vicious bid to get his hands on the store’s takings a decade after his late mother, Catherine, scooped £3.5million. Yesterday he appeared at the High Court in Paisley after earlier pleading guilty to a charge of assault with intent to rob. His accomplice, 33-year-old Andrew Madden, also pleaded guilty to the same crime.
