Video: Police release shocking footage of car skidding on the ice and flipping onto its roof - and hurling the driver out of a WINDOW
CCTV footage from a narrow country lane shows a silver Citroen Saxo losing control and skidding 90 degrees before hitting the grass verge and flipping over, throwing the young female motorist from the out-of-control car.
According to Sussex Police, the driver, a woman in her 20s, suffered only minor injuries but “it could have been far worse”. Sergeant Dan Pitcher said: “We would urge all motorists to take care on the roads around Sussex, particularly in the icy conditions when some areas can be unpredictable. “Listen out for road noise - if this disappears at any stage, it may mean you are driving on ice.
