Video: A pair of deer had to be rescued after they were found with their antlers tied together - with electric rope.

They were spotted by a group of dog walkers who noticed that the two male Fallow deer acting abnormally in a field.

When Laura and Tracy Gage and Penny and Laura Walker, got closer to the deer, they realised the two stressed males were trying to pull free from the tangle - and contacted the Wildlife Rescue Ambulance Service (WRAS) in East Sussex. Rescuer Kathy Martyn from Uckfield and Chris Riddington from Eastbourne, East Sussex, used a walk towards net to catch the deer before Trevor Weeks threw a blanket over the deer’s head.
