Video: Mum takes on 40 challenges because she was too boring in her 20's
A single mum is taking on 40 madcap challenges just before she turns 40 because she was too dowdy in her 20s and 30s - including swimming with sharks and posing nude.
Kirsteen Yates, 39, has already taken a few turns in a stunt plane, stripped nude for a photographer and stayed awake for 24 hours revelling with a pal in Amsterdam.
And in the next 12 months she plans to swim with sharks and kiss a complete stranger with no introductions - all in the name of showing others she’s far from old and past it.

Hide AdKirsteen, from Wilmslow, Cheshire, has always had an adventurous streak in her and joined the Air Force as a teenager.
But when her childhood sweetheart husband left her when their first child Hayden was just weeks old, Kirsteen was forced to put her life on hold for her son - and has spent most of the last 14 years being ‘dowdy’ and sensible.
