Video: Man suffers head injuries after advertising hoarding collapses in Leeds

A man has been taken to hospital with head injuries after an advertising hoarding collapsed on him in Leeds.

The 33-year-old was struck by the roadside hoarding on Harehills Lane just after 9.30am today.

It is not yet clear how the hoarding came loose from its fixings.

The man was transported to Leeds General Infirmary by ambulance and is said to be in a “stable” condition.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the force was liaising with the Health and Safety Executive regarding the incident, which happened close to Harehills Lane’s junction with Conway Road.
