A MAN is being sought by police after carrying out a ‘terrifying’ knifepoint robbery near Leeds station.
No-one has been arrested for the robbery, which took place at Brooks newsagent at Neville Street at around 12.15pm on Saturday, November 15 last year.
Detectives from British Transport Police are now re-appealing to anyone who has any information to come forward.
Detective constable Jason Ridgway said: “The attacker [...] held a knife against the throat of the cashier and demanded she open the till.
“The man grabbed some money and ran out of the shop, threatening to stab the cashier if she followed him.
“This was a frightening attack which has left the victim extremely shaken.
“We are hoping someone will come forward to help us bring justice for the victim of what must have been a terrifying ordeal.”
