Video: Leeds chippie hides five golden tickets

Have your say

Takeaway customers in Headingley could get more than they bargained with their dinner as a popular chippie launches a Willy Wonka-style giveaway.

Charlie Brett’s Fish Restaurant is hiding five golden tickets in its takeaway fish and chip wrappers over the coming weeks. Lucky finders will bag themselves tickets to a Leeds Rhinos game and a meal for two at the restaurant on North Lane before or after the match.

Owner Fiona Gibson said: “We’re excited. I think it’s always good to do something a bit different. We have a good relationship with Leeds Rhinos - we do sponsorship with them - and we had these tickets so thought we’d create a bit of interest.”
