Keith, the comic alter ego of Leeds comic Leigh Francis, has also starred in his own movie and presents the Through the Keyhole.

He told the YEP: “It’s nice to be here, I’ve seen my mum and I’ve just met a lovely family. I’m really excited to see everyone, I’ve just come from Bradford, it is always nice to go to see people in Bradford.

“It’s nice to hear lots of northern accents but I’m a bit more excited about being in Leeds because I know some of my friends from school are going to be here to give me some stick.”

The 41-year-old posed for photos with dozens of fans and spent time with his mum, who was at the White Rose, before the signing.
