Video: Great day for Leeds campaign launch

Have your say

HAPPY faces were the order of the day at the launch of a new charity campaign in Leeds.

As reported in yesterday’s Yorkshire Evening Post, people and firms across the city are being urged to take part in a fundraising activity of their choice on Friday, April 24.

The initiative, called Just One Day, will raise money for the Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal, the chosen charity of the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Coun David Congreve.

Coun Congreve was joined at yesterday’s launch in Millennium Square by Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal mascot Mr Ted and Leeds children’s mayor Amy Eckworth-Jones.
