Eagle-eyed shoppers were out in force as they bagged themselves a bargain on Saturday.

Clothes, bikes, furniture and home made produce were on sale and money raised from the event will go towards supporting Calverley Parkside and Calverley C of E Primary Schools.

Georgina Thompson, one of the event organisers, said: “Everyone is so behind it and it has unleased a fantastic community spirit.

“It is the third time the event has taken place and it just keeps getting bigger every year.”

The popular sale was first started in 2012 as a spring cleaning event and has managed to raise thousands of pounds over the years to support the village’s two local primary schools.
