Video - Firefighters demonstrate new gadget '“ special oxygen mask that helps save lives of pets rescued from blazes

Surrey firefighters are now able to apply pet masks to revive dogs, cats, hamsters and rabbits pulled from smoke filled rooms.

They released a video on Wednesday of a practice run on Barley, the service’s golden retriever, from a building before using the mask. Across Britain 16 fire stations, including those in Kent, Devon and Somerset, have been given the masks that come in recent months. The masks, which come in three different sizes, are ordered in from the USA from not-for-profit organisation Smokey Paws.
