A family are raising a glass to running the same pub for 100 YEARS - and they have no intention of calling last orders.

Joe Watson, 66, is third generation to be the landlord of the Railway Inn boozer in leafy Dorridge, West Mids. His granddad Thomas Watson took over the pub in 1915 and ran it with his wife Fanny and then with his second spouse Adeline for 44 years. He then passed the pub down to his son Eric who took control with his wife Nellie, who was affectionately known as ‘Babe’ to punters, in 1959. Grandson Joe officially took over with his wife Janet, 66, in 1982 but Nellie remained a strong presence until her death in 2010. Joe and Janet’s daughter Becky Neal, 38, has worked with her parents since she was 17 meaning the Railway Inn will stay in the Watson family for a fourth generation.
