Video: Classic Bugatti expected to enter record books as one of world's most valuable interwar cars valued at more than £9 million

The Bugatti 57SC Sports Tourer is regarded by many as the greatest and most collectible of all pre-war automobiles.

Just a handful were ever created and this particular 1937 model is a one-off thanks to its Vanden Plas coachwork. The Bugatti was unveiled by the French manufacturer at the London Motor Show. It was essentially a grand prix car which could be used for touring purposes. It is powered by a supercharged engine developing 200bhp - giving the sports car a top speed approaching 120mph.
