ris Rogus has combined surfboard materials with technology based on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner jet airliner to create his skis - that allow people to replicate one of the miracles of Jesus Christ. The 39-year-old, who is a carpenter like Jesus, has been devising a system for taking a watery stroll since he first tried joining together two kayak boats as a teenager. Kris, a professional carpenter, has spent the last five years using his spare time to turn his hobby into a business. His skis have an intricate set of fins, flaps and hinges - and are described in his worldwide patent as “water walking apparatus with improved propulsion”.
