Wannabe popstars Ever Young performed an impromptu gig in the car park at your Yorkshire Evening Post.

The band brought their own microphone and sound system to make sure passers-by and employees heard their every word.

Hollie McKinlay, 17, Cherelle Williams, 17, Jack Morlen, 16 and Eyal Booker (also known as Benjy), 16, have been travelling around the country as part of their Schools Tour and have performed at Mirfield Free Grammar School and schools in Bradford.

Earlier in the day they even plucked up the courage to stand outside Radio Aire and Capital FM, where they were invited inside for a quick singsong and an interview.

Hollie, who lives in Essex, said: “We were extremely scared but it was our day off so we wanted to have a bit of fun.

She added: “People in Leeds have been lovely and audiences have been really receptive.”
