Urgent appeal launched to trace missing 14-year-old Leeds girl

A 14-year-old girl has gone missing from her home in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police are urgently appealing for information to trace Charis Scott, who was last seen at home in Harehills on Tuesday at around 5.45pm.

She is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build with shoulder-length dark hair. She was last seen wearing black trousers, black trainers and a black coat.

Detective Inspector Marc Bowes, of Leeds District Safeguarding Unit, said: “We are very concerned for Charis’ welfare, given her age, and we urgently need to hear from anyone who has seen her or who knows her current whereabouts.”
