Leeds Cat Rescue has issued an appeal after a stray cat gave birth in someone's kitchen in Seaforth Mount, LS9 last night (Wednesday).

The cat and kittens were moved to Trafford Avenue, a few streets away, but the mum bolted outside the house early this morning and has not been seen since, leaving the five newborns to fend for themselves.
