Victoria Gate, which also includes a flagship John Lewis store and two arcades, is due to launch later this year.

Robin Dobson, director of retail development at Hammerson, said: “Attracting leading global retailers of the calibre of both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein is testament to Victoria Gate and its potential to create the north’s best in class retail, leisure and dining destination when it launches later this year.”

Other brands that have signed up to the site include GANT, Hackett, Anthropologie, & Other Stories and Cos.

Fine dining international restaurant group, D & D, will also be opening a brand new rooftop restaurant at the development.
