Two men cut free from car following Leeds crash

Two men were cut free following a three-car pile-up on Stanley Road during the early hours this morning.

Fire and rescue crews said the smash happened at about 1.44am in Burmantofts, LS9.

A spokesman said: “We attended a road traffic collision at 1.44am, three vehicles were involved and two men who were trapped had to be cut free from one of the cars. They were taken to hospital by ambulance.” The men were freed at around 2.20am.
