Two children aged 12 and 15 arrested after West Yorkshire Police chase

Two children aged 12 and 15 years old were arrested after being in a car of three people which was chased by police.

West Yorkshire Police revealed that the force pursued a Vauxhall Corsa which failed to stop for police.

After a lengthy pursuit, three occupants of the car then tried to escape on foot, but police managed to catch them.

All three were arrested, including a 12-year-old and a 15-year-old.

The incident happened in Dewsbury in West Yorkshire and it is believed that the vehicle travelled through the area and Staincliffe and Ravensthorpe.

A spokesman for the force posted online: "Dewsbury/Batley a Corsa failed to stop for police.

"After a lengthy pursuit the 3 occupants attempted to run off and hide but we were all there to greet them. 3 arrested. Two of them were children, 15 & 12 years old."
