TV magician heading to Morley this weekend

A TV star is heading to Morley with a brand new comedy show this weekend.

John Archer, who has appeared with Jonathan Ross on the ITV series ‘So Fool Me’, is performing at St Peter’s Church in Gildersome on Saturday, March 11.

John has been the Magic Circle’s Magician of the Year and counts magicians Derren Brown and Dynamo amongst his fans.

Tickets are priced £10 adults and £5 children and include a pie and pea supper and people are invited to bring their own drinks.

Ashley Peatfield, who is organising the event, said: “This evening is ideal for adults but as there’s no bad language or inappropriate content, people can bring their families too.”

Profits from the evening will go to the Morley-based Funzi and Bodo Trust which supports two villages in Kenya.
