Britain’s Got Talent stars Boogie Storm will don their iconic Stormtrooper outfits and strut their stuff in Leeds this week ahead of two special movie screenings.
The dance group will perform at Millennium Square on Friday, July 29, as the site is transformed into an outdoor cinema, showing Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Movie-goers can take a seat in the specially-constructed auditorium in front of a state-of-the-art LED screen.
Guests are encouraged to wear fancy dress and can have their picture taken with characters from the iconic films.
Lee Seddon, from Boogie Storm, said: “We are really looking forward to coming to Leeds for our first exclusive performance in the city.
“Everyone loves Star Wars and we have been overwhelmed by the phenomenal pubic response following our appearance on Britain’s Got Talent.
“We recently had the privilege of attending the wrap party of the new Star Wars film Rogue One where we got to meet some of the cast including John Boyega and Mark Hamill.”
He added: “The outdoor cinema experience in Leeds sounds a lot of fun and we hope our appearance will help create a brilliant atmosphere.”
The matinee screening starts at 2pm, followed by an evening showing at 7.30pm. Tickets cost up to £10.
Three more movies will be screened as part of ‘The Film House on the Square’ programme.
Grease will be shown on July 27, followed by Avengers Assemble and James Bond classic Skyfall on July 28.
