Woman rushed to hospital after Leeds crash

A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a crash in south Leeds tonight.

The incident on Wakefield Road involved two vehicles and happened at around 6.30pm on Thursday, July 24.

One woman was trapped after the collision and was freed from the vehicle by West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue crews.

She was then taken to hospital by ambulance.

Fire crews from Morley and Batley attended the incident.

Officers said shortly after midnight that the collision involved a red Ford Fiesta and a 52-year-old man.
