Witness appeal after woman hit by van in Leeds is left critically injured

Police want to speak to witnesses after a woman was left critically injured when she was hit by a van in Leeds.

The 42-year-old suffered serious head injuries in the incident on Town Street, Middleton, on Friday.

She was transported to Leeds General Infirmary after the collision, at about 6.25pm, and remains in a critical condition.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call the major collision enquiry team on 101.
