Service 47 - these buses will continue to operate their current timetables.

Service X84, X84 and new service 784 - normal stopping arrangements will return.

First said in a statement: "We introduced a non-stop service operation on the X84/X85 between Weetwood Police Station and Leeds as part of our efforts to manage capacity on the route and look at how we could provide faster journeys for longer-distance commuters.

"This trial was undertaken in consideration of public transport being only available for essential travellers and the vast majority of facilities on the route, such as the University & Headingley Stadium, being closed.

"During this period, we have provided clear social distancing procedures on bus and introduced ‘real-time’ capacity information for customers through the First Bus App.

"We now have over 4 weeks of data since the changes above were introduced and, although we had some concerns about the opening up of some retail in mid-June, we can confirm that we haven’t seen a significant impact on route capacity of one route over another."

Service 784 - The bus link between Skipton and Otley will resume from Monday, July 13.

First said: "This will be a stand-alone service, 784 that will provide an hourly service Monday to Saturday.

"The main benefit is to separate the connection, so issues on the Skipton leg or Leeds leg don’t directly impact other sections of route.

"Service 784 will take a slightly different route to avoid Skipton High Street which is closed on market days for social distancing, and we will need to use a single deck bus on this section as it uses a low bridge that cannot be serviced by double deck buses, which will continue to be used on the X84/5."

Service 19/19A - the frequency of these bus services will be restored to every 30 minutes on Sundays.
