Road near Bramley bus station closed after police called to crash scene

Cars were diverted through Bramley bus station while Leeds police responded to a crash on the main road.

Officers were called to the scene in Lower Town Street just after 10.30am today.

A police spokeswoman said a silver Ford and a black Peugeot had collided, leaving the road partially blocked.

She said no injuries had been reported and the road would stay closed until the vehicles had been recovered.

West Yorkshire Metro said cars were running through the bus station in order to pass the incident but the road had now reopened.
