Queues on ALL APPROACHES to Armley Gyratory roundabout due to Stanningley Bypass crash

Motorists are facing delays of up to one hour on the Stanningley Bypass due to a rush-hour crash.

Standstill traffic has been reported from the Bypass onto Armley Road and towards Armley Gyratory.

The AA reported a crash on a stretch of Stanningley Bypass following the Swinnow junction headed towards Leeds.

The crash has caused commuters to become stuck in traffic, with many reporting up to an hour of delays.

One commuter said he had not moved in more than 20 minutes from a single point near the KFC on Armley Road.

The AA said: "Queueing traffic due to earlier accident on A58 at A647 Canal Street (Armley Gyratory).

"Congestion to the Leeds Ring Road.

"On the roundabout.

"Residual queues remain all approaches to the roundabout."
