Pensioner seriously injured in mobility scooter smash in Leeds

AN ELDERLY man has been rushed to hospital after his mobility scooter was involved in a crash in Leeds.

The man suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Domestic Street, near to the junction with Ingram View, in Holbeck.

The road was closed shortly after the incident, which happened at around 11.10am this morning (July 17).

Domestic Street and Domestic Road were closed after the incident and bus services 55, 64, 74 and 86 were being diverted via Holbeck Lane.
