There are major delays on the M62 as all emergency services attend a crash.

It happened at about 1pm between junction 22 at Windy Hill and junction 33 at Outlane.

The crash blocked lanes two and three on the eastbound carriageway as police, fire and ambulance attended the scene.

All vehicles have now been moved to the hard shoulder but the crash is causing major delays.

Highways England reported: "Please be aware that there are now long delays in both directions on approach to this incident on the M62.

"Average journey times eastbound are now 40 minutes longer than normal for this time of day, and 20 minutes longer westbound.

"Allow extra time for your journey."
