Major delays and bus diversions in Horsforth after crash blocks New Road Side roundabout

There is major traffic disruption in Horsforth after a crash has blocked New Road Side roundabout.

Police were called to the crash at 1.45pm, near Horsforth Hall Park, which involved a grey Vauxhaull Astra and a black Kia Sportage.

A three-year-old child sustained minor injuries.

The roundabout is partially blocked while the scene is cleared and queuing traffic is building in the area.

The AA reports: "Partially blocked and queuing traffic due to accident on A65 New Road Side at A6120 Broadway (Horsforth roundabout).

"Delays on all approaches."

First Bus services 33 and 34 are diverting inbound to Leeds via Broadway, right Park Side and left New Roadside until the crash is cleared.
